Easy 5 stars for Rachel and her work. She captures the most beautiful pictures of your family. Even in a mini session, she is able to get a great mix of candid and posed photos and a variety of family combos (parents, kids only, parents with one kid, etc.). She is also great with kids, getting them to pose or run around so she can get the best shots. 10/10 would recommend.

We hired Rachel to take family photos while traveling near Asheville. I cannot express enough how happy we are with the photos. Rachel arrived and immediately my daughter connected with her. Rachel was able to work with both my four year and 7 month old to get the BEST photos I will cherish forever. She not only came to our Air BnB, she secured a venue to take additional outdoor photos. Mini Sessions vs. Full Sessions

Mini Sessions are perfect for families with one child or with older children who can follow directions and typically enjoy getting their photos taken! These are great for families who would just like a photo or two for their Christmas Card or to gift to the grandparents!

Full Sessions are great for all families because they give your family time to relax, explore and have fun! During Full Sessions the focus is not on smiling and looking at the camera but using prompts and games to create fun family memories, resulting in more connected and candid photographs.

Parents tell me all of the time “I don’t think my kids will last longer than 15 minutes” and for posed sessions, I completely understand and agree! However since my full sessions are so focused on exploration, movement and fun prompts and activities, they feel more like a family play date than a chore and the time flies!

So just something to think about as you decide between the two!

I will provide you with beautiful images of your family regardless!
